Update on school..
It's going freakin awesome! I just got my first Math test score back and.. 105%! WOO! I also just took my first Humanities quiz and.. 100%! I still haven't gotten my Music paper score but, I think I did pretty good. I've been going to every class, everyday. I've been, somewhat, keeping up on my reading and just feel really good about school so far! I have exams coming up but, I'm going to study, study, study! I've decided I'm going to rock every exam. THAT'S right! This is very short but I have nothing else to say about school. It's still school.

School started. Laziness is over.. for the most part.
School has started. Notice I didn't end that sentence with an exclamation point, like I usually do with just about every sentence. Don't get me wrong, I'm ready to start school again and actually like a few of my classes but.. I will have no life. My classes are as follows:
College Algebra 0990
American Popular Music
Intro. Criminal Justice
Humanities through the Arts
What I feel about each class goes as follows:
College Algebra 0990:
Kill me now. That about sums it up. One plus, my Professor is a cute, old lady who just loves teaching. I love professors like that!
American Popular Music:
I've only had this class once but loved the lecture. I really think I'll enjoy this class. The professor knows a TON about music and there doesn't seem to be an overwhelming amount of homework, which is always nice.
Intro. Criminal Justice:
I know I made the right choice with my major. I love everything about this class and I've only had it once. I'm SO excited! I should have started this major years ago.
Humanities through the Arts:
I thought about withdrawing when there was only 5 of us in class when it started. Luckily, other people started coming in 15 or so minutes later and there ended up being about 20 students in the end. I decided to give this class one chance and I would make my final decision after. I loved it. This class has so much involvement with art, I just love it. The homework seems a bit tough but, I think I'll really enjoy the lectures. For a final project, I can actually oil paint and turn it in. How cool is that?
This last week was pretty rough. My legs and feet are in so much pain but, it's worth it. I'm finally ready to be in school full time and I can't WAIT to get my Bachelor's degree in Forensic Science. It fits me so well. I know this career choice will be something I love! It only took me how many years to figure it out? I'd rather not give that answer.
One thing I realized from all my classes was, there is always a thinks-they-know-it-all person. Seriously. In every single one of my classes. I'm pretty sure I'll be killing one of them by the end of the semester. I just don't understand how someone can think that making a comment after EVERYTHING the professor says is actually a good idea. It's ridiculous.
On a different note.. I started reading The Mortal Instruments series. I'm on the first book and I'm really, really enjoying it! It's definetely similar to Twilight but, I think, way better written. I should say that the story line is similar but the characters are more interesting. This isn't a vampire book but it does have an oridnary girl who can see a certain group of people that humans shouldn't be able to see so, she's special. Then you have the love triangle and the evil people trying to kill humans. I would say it's more mature than Twilight, for sure, but it is very similar so if you didn't like Twilight, you may not like this. I would recommend at least giving it a try! My next book, after this series, will be.. Witch and Wizard by James Patterson.
So the next few months will be school, school, and more school. I'm sure my future blog posts will be venting about homework, obnoxious people, and anything else school related. Read at your own risk.
